a week in a mumble of words

Well my friends, it is that time again...to update you all on my life, and whats going on here in Tullecombe. I'm sorry it has been so long since my last entry, but seriously this week has been super busy! I've been here and there, and everywhere! Well...I guess not everywhere...but i've most certainly not had the time to update this blog.
Well, as some of you know I went to London last Sunday with Phil and Debbie to a church called HTB. Now I didn't really have the time to wander around the city streets and see it all but they did drive me around the city after the service so I could see Big Ben, and Lizzy's home (the palace) and all the sites and things. It was beautiful seeing it all lit up and bright.
BUT CHURCH. Ok, so HTB is quite a large church. It is hugely community based and infact is the home of Alpha. Some of you probably have heard of the Alpha course, and have it in your churches...well the man who started it up is the vicar of the church: Nicky Gumbel. He gave the message on sunday night after a sweet worship session, which I later found out was Tim Hughes. As you can see its kinda well known church, but it was absolutely amazing. I think next time I go, i'm going to see what their homeless outreach is like...my heart is really missing the Sunday Suppers at home, and the people I love there. SO we'll see what happens with that. Anyway, London was a sweet experience. *Phil was afraid though that I would die walking across the road...and look the wrong direction, and turn into tourist road kill...so i was lead every time we crossed a street...but its alright. Even though painted on the streets it says what direction to look for traffic...funny eh?
Well part of the reason this week was so busy was because Sarah went to Dublin for a few nights. SO the three of us, Fay, Carolin and I had to hold the fort down. I think we did a pretty good job! No hospital visits, no chilren, horses or dogs lost...and the hose didnt burn down! High five and stickers all around. As part of the job while Sarah was away Fay and I had to walk the dogs twice a day...
Now our adventures were quite lovely..one morning i was rather dopy and not fit for conversation but the walk was nice. The fresh air was a good way to wake me up...and Bonnie and Buster were quite lively as well so keeping up with their crazy fast pace was good for me as well. On our adventures we've had lots of time to talk, laugh, yell at the dogs and meet friends...like mud puddles and deer! In this picture there is a deer, who is a dear friend of ours now. We've seen her/him? every time we pass this same area. We think she's too stupid and scared that we're going to pass by here ONE MORE TIME to actually move..It makes us laugh every time. Its great and we get a good laugh out of our long walks. We're going out again tonight, and hopefully Runny and Drippy (we've renamed the dogs) will be good for us and not disappear into the fog and mist.
Also this week we've made a new change in our eating habbits...and hopefully will benefit us in more ways than one. With the lay out of a day, we really had to work and then eat..Now dont get me wrong, we DID eat...but at manky hours. For instance Lunch wasnt until the children were in bed, so that was around 2:30-3:00 every day...which by the time that came around we just made lazy sandwhiches, or just had something small and not healthy...and Dinner wasnt until the chillens were in bed. SO we'd eat at 8-10? It was not so good and our bodies were showing the lovely signs of it. SO this week, we have a completely healthy fridge! No chocolate or anything of the sort!Its all veggies and well...healthy things! If you opened our mini-fridge you wouldnt even recognize it! We dont. hehe. But we're going to eat dinners before the kids get up from their nap so we eat when dinner is supposed to be eaten now! Another high five and stickers around!! We're quite excited about it too! Since last week we bought some new cook books we've ordered food to go specially with meals we've planned for the week. Last night was healthy dinner number one!! Roasted peppers and coos coos and spinach on the side! SOo good! Caro did a lovely job!
Well...I am one for making dreams and lists and combining them into a dream list! Well I made one specially for living here in England, and the list keeps on growing..But I got to cross one of the dreams off my list the other day!! You may look at this little green stub and think What the heck alli...take a picture of a bulb in the ground? Good one. But NOPE! Do you want to know how that little beautiful bulb got in the ground? My fingers! It was on my list for England to plant a seed. Silly I know. BUT planting something in a different country, making somewhere else in the world beautiful is something I wanted to do! SO I was walking along the yard the other day, and wammo! This little bulb was just tossed out in the yard. Probably from a rabbit or the storm we had this week. But it needed a home! SO Caro and I went and planted it! Its in a special spot so when we ever come back here to visit, we will go to this special spot and see our planted creation! It made us smile, and we cant wait to see it bloom!
Well, life here in Rogate is nothing but dull. There is always something to do..or somwhere to go. Or someone (animal or human) to talk to. Its nice. Well, i should probably go and do some of my studies...this fourth unit is ALMOST finished. And Fay is chatting in my ear, so its hard to multi task. But I hope you all are having a beautiful day.
*Adam i'm glad to hear you're alright and not hurt too badly with the car...snow stinks. *Uncle David you would love looking at my fingers right now...totally full of dirt! Every time I come in from the fields I want to take a picture and send it to you!
Mum and dad and nate thanks for the package! Muffins will be made sometime this weekend...and the goggles are being used quite a bit. The valley looks fabulous through the eyes of the God Goggles.
