I have never been a lover of winter, with the cold winds, the bitter long wintery months, piles and piles of snow and ice everywhere....however there is something beautiful about the
first snowfall of the season. The fresh delicate white snowflakes scattered here and there..perfectly dancing to the ground, or on other surfaces that catch their fancy first..
Rather than griping about the snow, I took Hamish out into my new garden to snap a few shots of the beautiful flurries falling on my frozen florals.
I do have to admit...winter can bring some pretty beautiful colour combinations. Rich reds, deep burgundy, pastels, gold, greens of various shades.
